Masu cire kumfa suna hana samuwar kumfa ta hanyar canza halayen ruwan. Masu cire kumfa suna maye gurbin ƙwayoyin surfactant a cikin siririn layin kumfa, wanda ke nufin cewa layin ɗaya ba shi da laushi kuma yana da yuwuwar karyewa.
